👍 Highly Recommend! Zaino's is Family Owned and Operated and it shows.  We had a very personal experience with Michael Zaino.  From the begining to end, he was very patient and  knowledgeable. Our backyard needed a fresh start. His plantings were tasteful, sustainable and private. The scheduling and the timeline on the project were met during all phases. With confidence we can recommend Zaino's to our friends and family.  We thank you for a great experience in making our backyard beautiful and private.

Always get the best advice, the healthiest plants and great ideas when shopping Zainos.  Even when they moved further from our house we followed them to the new location.  Very personal service.

Never again will I go here. I went here back in May and was told that Michael  would be in touch. Michael came by after a week and spent time on my property and took notes of what we wanted landscaping wise. Then waiting 2 months after reaching out multiple times to ask where the rendering is. Michael kept making excuses that the software is broken. How many months does it take to fix it? Renderings are part of the business! So after a long drawn 2+ months of playing the waiting game, he gave me a render that looked NOTHING like what we walked him through. I was in shock. It was nothing like what we discussed. When I told him that doesn't look like what we discussed, we never heard back from him even after reaching out multiple times. If the service is like this before, can you imagine what it would have been if we didn't see the rendering. What a waste of waiting 2+ months! We definitely bit the bullet on this one. Thank god we didn't not move forward with Zainos. They do not care at all.

Michael Zaino is a consummate professional!  We recently completed a total waterfront renovation of our home and Michael provided us with quality design options via computer, as well as in-person walk-through to explain the different types of species of shrubs and plants that would work best for on water living.  He truly is a pleasure to work with, as well as his price point.  Will always recommend Zaino's Nursery for any + all landscaping design needs! Thanks again Mike, you made our house look magnificent!!!

Brian is extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful. Their selection is superb. They have exactly what I want as if they can read my mind. No need to look further. Excellent.

My first time at Zaino’s and it’s a nice little nursery and garden center. They have nice looking plants and some hard to find succulents in stock. The prices are reasonable for basic plants. The show pieces are priced high but they looked good.

The whole place is much smaller than Hick’s but I enjoyed the selection. We picked up a few plants we couldn’t find elsewhere.

Their service seems decent although I didn’t engage with them much so I can’t say definitively.

Their hours are definitely shorter than Hick’s and other nearby nursery/garden centers so call ahead to confirm their hours.

Zaino’s Nursery & Garden Center is always my first choice when looking for new plants each season. I have been shopping there for several years and recommend them highly. They have healthy plants, helpful staff, fair prices, and always something a bit different than what you might find elsewhere.

This nursery is absolutely wonderful and the Christmas decorations around the store made you feel right at home. My wife and I came in for a Christmas tree and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. And best of all, their prices were surprisingly low! We cannot wait for the Spring to buy our shrubs and flowers. They have the best selection! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Usually satisfied with the nursery. This time NOT!
I purchased mum’s last week that were not bloomed but the tag on the pot showed a beautiful bronze bloom! It has turned out to be a deep blackish crimson! When I spoke to Zainos they told me they don’t stand behind the flowers they sell for the tags to be correct and no refunds are given! Poor customer service for a customer dissatisfied with something the company sold at their error! You’ve lost a long time customer!

I am sure that you are aware that this has been a troubling year for everyone, including us, as an essential business during the pandemic.

We are very sorry that you are dissatisfied. We sold out very quickly on almost all plant material throughout the season. The mums were just another plant in high demand and extremely hard to find after we initially sold out, as did every other nursery in the area. We did not want to disappoint our customers and were able to purchase an additional shipment from another vendor who shared with us at that time that the colors tagged on the pots might be incorrect. Due to the pandemic, this vendor was shorthanded, and the plants were mislabeled. But, we did have healthy mums in bud for our customers to purchase and enjoy. We shared this information with all of our customers, including you, and told them not to rely on the color tags on the pots to indicate the flower color.

You stated in your negative review that we do not stand behind our flowers. This statement could not be further from the truth. Zaino’s Nursery and Garden Center and our staff strive to offer quality customer service and healthy plant material at extremely competitive prices.

During such a challenging year, many customers have embraced gardening and Zaino’s Nursery as a planting sanctuary. We try our best and have thousands of satisfied customers!
