Everyone is doing their jobs and they are mostly well stocked. But whoever is in charge needs to hire more people. It is an entire wall mart. Don't skimp on staff just to save money. Either train everyone so they can fill every role, or hire ample staff. And don't even think about telling me "nobody wants to work" or "wages are too high". You sell plenty of merchandise.

When people are down shopping, they want to pay for their items and go home. You have 8 regular lanes for people to check out their carts at. If there is a line from the registers all the way into clothing, open another register. It is not rocket science. Thank you.

I mean it's a great store and all, but seriously, check to see how long the lines are and if they're long, open more registers. Oh and stop locking everything up too. People really steal underwear and denture cream? Maybe they need it. At least hire more people so you can actually get someone to unlock the underwear prison.

Not enough staffing. Everytime I go in there is 1 person who has keys for the whole store, 1 person at the deli, and only 2 or 3 registers open even during peak hours.
I understand some people like self check but I'm not one of them. I have my own job and if I have to do the work I want a discount.

This is the first time i do my grocery shopping online... I love it! Once my order wad ready I drove to Walmart parked and only waited 5 minutes the most. I had an employee greeting me and placing my items in the trunk of my vehicle.    Greatest experience ever, no more in store shopping with 4 kids plus all the in-store prices and online are the same.

Oroville Walmart is it terrible shopping experience. Are you the manager should be terminated. They do not keep the shelves full and the customer service is terrible. The lines are extremely long they never have enough Clerks, they expect you to do your own check out and then want you to verify your receipt at the door which makes absolutely no sense to me either trust me or don't. They seriously need to do something about their management.

My very fave Walmart of all! I will gladly drive from towns away for this Walmart! Granted thanks to the supply crisis, many stores are facing negative reviews for having virtually no products on their shelves, this store does in fact have their shelves stocked when they should. Now of course if you go near the first of the month, expect the shelves to be virtually empty since the early bird gets the worm but don't hold that against them. They try and their shelves are definitely the most full I've seen of any in the county. Just don't go near the first of the month and you should be able to find what you're looking for!

I always come here from Chico for the Walmart Pick up. It's worth the drive. I'm always greeted and helped so kindly. They are professional and friendly. I usually dislike Walmarts customer service, but these guys are 5 stars!

Great first trip. Only bad thing at 11:30 am THERE ARE NO CASHIERS and lines were so long I had to leave my full cart. Came back an hour later and then was able to go through self checkout. Still lines with only 2 cashiers open. Manager better make some changes!!!

Went to Walmart in Oroville, Ca tonight at about 8 pm so hopefully I could get a motorized cart.  I am in kidney failure & in dialysis.  Ryan, the Walmart greeter, was there & there were no motorized carts in sight.  I asked Ryan & he started making calls to get another employee to locate a cart.  He said they only had 2 right now because people keep stealing them! Then when other employees couldn't locate one he got someone to cover for him & went outside to locate one.  Unfortunately none were available so I waited while my husband attempted to do the shopping.  Ryan went above & beyond the call of duty to try & accommodate me!  He was kind, courteous & the epitomy of excellent customer service!  As I waited for my husband I watched Ryan help other customers & also noticed he is very fluent in Spanish as well!  Walmart don't ever let this very young, caring & kind man go! He is a HUGE asset to your store!

Although this is most likely where you will get the lowest price on groceries and home goods in Oroville, it's not without its flaws and struggles. Due to theft being raised to $950 in California, more items are locked away requiring a staff member with a key to open which are almost never available. I once waited for an item to be unlocked and decided to complete the rest of my shopping, 45 minutes later I came back and the person still hadn't come after being paged twice I know because there was another person waiting the entire time there for the same item I wanted as well. The next big issue is checkout, primarily self-checkout. The issue is the store expects everybody to know how to use the self-checkout, and in this day and age we can't expect people to know without any indication. There are two types of self checkout one with a conveyor belt and one without, because there's a conveyor belt self-checkout there is no 10-item rule but people can't figure out that that's where they should take their 50 items and not the self-checkout that has no conveyor belt increasing wait times for customers who have less items at self-checkout. The next issue with self-checkout is when they decide to make it "card only". Unless you check before you get in line and look for the red outline box indicating "card only", you could get stuck waiting in a line of people just to find out the machine will not take cash when you get up there. I personally had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to check out five groceries because self checkout was all "card only" and I had cash, it felt like I was being punished for using money to pay for less than $20 worth of stuff. I'm sure undoubtedly there are other issues at this store location but these are the two most you should keep in mind when shopping here.

DO NOT ORDER CURBSIDE FOR GROCERIES! You will wait for hours in the middle of the night, then be told to come anytime the next day, then the next morning be told the "ORDERS" were left out all night and they do not know when you can pick up your order, but the $$$$$$ MONEY $$$$$$ has already been removed out of your account!!! Horrible , Horrible, experience! I kept thinking in the past 6 months it would get better but NO STILL HORRIBLE! Go to Raleys and pay a little extra
ADD, Front End Manager "Jamie literally kept me on hold for 35 minutes hung up on me and then forwarded my call to another person. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! RUNNNNN!!!!
