Excellent selection.  Layout somewhat confusing.  Staff pleasant and helpful.  Not as neat and clean as other locations but they have more shoppers. Good prices.  I feel need to be more safety/security alert for some reason.

This one of the best stores in whole New Haven county. They took some questionable decisions recently ($5-$10 for in-store pickup unless the order is $35 or more !!) I mean at that price, I would get the order shipped to my house and Walmart will pay for shipping.
Waive the pickup fee if the order is EITHER $10 or 10 items, so you guarantee that employees are not abused

I can honestly say that I have a very strong dislike for this particular Walmart. There are never enough employees, even before this Covid thing started. This place is always so busy and the lines are ridiculous. They put in all these self checkouts and I am not getting paid to scan my own stuff so I want someone else who is getting paid to do it for me. Self checkout is not faster especially when you do 90% of your grocery shopping in one trip. I just can't stand it. I want the human interaction. I want to get in a line and be out of the store within 15 minutes, not get in line and 15 minutes later you still haven't gotten to the register.

Went grocery shopping this morning. After filling up the cart, I proceeded to checkout where I was informed that they had NO BAGS. None at the checkout and none of the shopping bags for purchase.
This meant that after paying, I had.to unload loose groceries into my car. I then had to unload loose groceries from my car to my house. VERY AGGRAVATED.

It was alright, some isles were messy, and no sales person was around for me to ask a question. It took me a good 10 minutes to find someone, and when I did, they had no clue what I was talking about; they had called the manager, and I waited a good 15 minutes for the manager to come and they never came to the isle I was at so I left and went upfront and asked for the manager again and that's when I over heard the workers saying that the manager had gone out to get their dinner and they couldn't believe that the manager has been gone over 40 mins...WOW!!!!😲

Nice store. Good produce, which is the most important thing I look for. I never got an expired item here ever (4 years) and the staff is actually pretty friendly. I know.

Despite this being Walmart and containing the many different people that shop at Walmart, and on weekends it seems these people quadruple, this Walmart Supercenter in Wallingford is still by far the best Walmart in Connecticut, and the best I've ever shopped at anywhere. I'm very lucky to have this is as my local Walmart. The shelves are always full, except late night on Sunday nights, right before closing, but now I know why- because all these people shop here on the weekends! The prices are the best around town, compared to the other grocery stores and pharmacies. The employees are helpful, and they work hard to restock their shelves. Overall, this Walmart does not have that "ghetto" feel like the other stores have, like the one in Hamden.

I like walmart bcuz u can get alot of things in one place but I honestly dont like the produce section. It's always ran thru and dont have a good organic produce section. Actually scratch that in general they dont have a good organic section. As for the toy section they dont have a good variety for boys. What I can say is there prices are great!

It's a Walmart, it's always packed, they never have bags, their carts seem to always be messed up, pretty much what you should expect

Affordable but crowded and insane. Never knew you could cash checks here. I cashed my Income tax check. Of course there is a small fee and you need identification and maybe a bill proving address. For me all it was my license and social security number. Very convenient.
