This Walgreens location is top notch. No waiting in line or perhaps minimal if you hit it at a busy time. Very well organized and thoughtful/curtious employees. The pharmacy techs are super helpful and friendly! What a breathe of fresh air for myself. No rush atmosphere and everyone is so kind! I will definitely come back to this Walgreens as apposed to the pharmacy in my home town, worth the drive!

I called to get the fax number to their pharmacy so my kids dentist could fax a rx for an antibiotic. According to the worker, giving out their fax number violates HIPAA. As a healthcare professional for over a decade, I am still wondering how knowing a fax number somehow violates that. Anyway, if you need their fax number, the automated message will give it to you.

RX. Gave them all my numbers but PCN. Wanted badly to stay there because it was close to my house. Transferred RX to Kroger’s they had NO PROBLEM at all in Sandston.

the clerks are helpful and most very nice BUT there are not enough to help customers....
I was there for 3 different reasons.  I waited in 3 different lines 4 time longer than it took to take care of my business.
The pharmacy is the WORST place I have Ever experienced.  It may take Weeks to get a med in, that I get the same every other month, for years. When they finally got my meds they only had a partial of the med.  they never got the rest in and I could NOT prove I had been shorted.  When I had to refill this, they did not want to refill because it was too soon to refill. After I explained and was getting angry they said they would refill it.  I knew it was because they figured out they had NOT given me the complete refill before. I tried to talk to someone but they wanted to leave. It was full of people getting prescriptions and about 5-6 people wanting for shots.
That was NOT the first time they had screwed up my prescriptions.  I have had to explain their jobs and procedures in their pharmacy. There always seems to be lots of people filling proscriptions.  Do they train pharmacist instead of concentration of Their job and customer service????
I AM FINDING ANOTHER PHARMACY if I have to drive miles more.

Unfortunately I had to give one star by no choice of mine. Two months in a row I have taking my class II controlled medication to this Pharmacy to have filled I use this Pharmacy every month but they have shorted me on my medication causing me to have to contact my doctor's office which is no easy feat. I almost wonder if somebody is not taking extra medication for their own personal use. Not that Rite Aid was much better in their services at times but they were far more better than this new Walgreens. Bad mistake switching.
I also take hydroxychloroquine as part of my rheumatoid arthritis regiment just because the president mentions this drug the pharmacy did not want to give it to me. After they finally checked into it realizing I already take it they blamed it on my insurance. They finally gave me my prescription but it was not until a month later that I realized they shorted me a month's worth without even saying anything to me. So of course now I have to pay for the remainder that's what I should have already gotten not to mention the horror I will have to go through to get it filled again. You need to count your medications when you get because the pharmacies are doing as they please anymore.

Unfortunately I would love to be able to rate my experiences here highly because of a few exceptional pharmacy staff (Jill is the person I most often deal with) however I visited the store in person today 8/9/20 and actually asked a front store employee if the store was going out of business because The shelves were bare. Her excuse was covid 19. Well come on.  That excuse is over and done.  If a Walgreens cannot get supplies to ALL of their stores irrespective of location, I may need to change stores.  I think the more likely explanation is WALGREENS IN QUINTON may need to actually pay attention to it’s customer base and understand supply and demand, or perhaps hire new management.

I just had the most amazing experience here. My daughter is sick and insurance didn’t cover medicine she was prescribed so the pharmacist named Mr.Fady payed for the medicine and he had excellent customer service!! God bless him! ♥️

Pretty nice Walgreens.  Clean, well stocked and friendly staff.  Plenty of parking and well lighted.
