Take the time to go somewhere else. The lines are terrible and they are very disorganized. I waited for almost 1.5 hours just to pick up basic prescriptions I get every month. I called in to schedule refills earlier in the morning, called again late morning to check in and make sure the phone system processed the refills - the pharmacy confirmed yes - then show up at 4pm and only 1 out of 4 prescriptions was ready. They asked me to wait 10 minutes, I ended up getting called back after 30, only to be told there was an insurance issue. I literally had to explain how insurance works and they argued with me for a while. I suggested they try processing the prescription…and the insurance approved it right then and there. The pharmacist was so annoyed she stopped talking to me and just walked away. I had to confirm if her walking away meant she was filling the prescription (which was for my 12 year old). I ended up waiting again for another 45 minutes. I really wish my insurance company didn’t contract exclusively with Walgreens (we have military Tricare). Moving forward, I’m just going to drive to a Walgreens farther away - their disorganization and delays completely derailed my day. As a side note, the ladies working the registers were very polite and apologized, even if the pharmacist didn’t.
The pharmacy here is terrible: their long lines, extremely slow service, and their rude staff. I've had issues here with picking up standard prescriptions, with trying to get a COVID shot, etc. And when I went to go get my COVID shot a few months back they rudely questioned why I wasn't already vaccinated.
I had to visit thrice just to pick one prescription medicine. Miss Emily is the best example of inefficient worker at the pharmacy. My doctor has to call twice and only than she was able to locate the record and give me the required medicine.
