      *Editing to add* You have had MONTHS to solve this problem. I’m not jumping through hoops to contact you and set up a plan when I never had issues before. I’m sick of paying the same amount for a service that is unsatisfactory. Four times in one quarter?! That’s crazy. The lack of service is also a big thing. Really not happy. I canceled this morning. We had Dirks for about 6 or 7 years. Ever since Viking took over we have had such an issue with ants. We have had them out at least twice a quarter for the last couple of quarters and we still see ants. They have come out three times this quarter and will still be coming out this week to redo the outside. They definitely must not be using the same stuff. Also, the human interaction is gone with customer service. They use to call every quarter and now we just get a text the day before. We are suppose to schedule our own service now. Definitely a big change from what we have grown accustomed to. We are really considering canceling our quarterly service.

      I used Dirks at our old home for the quarterly services 2018 to 2020 before we sold. Never had an issue with Dirks during this time, the service was great, on time and completed when it was due. Now fast forward till now. Our new home was built, and spring came, I hired Dirks to complete mosquito & tick service monthly. During the sign up, I learned that Dirks partnered with Viking. I figured I shouldn't have an issue receiving the same level of service I did previously. I was wrong... I received our first service in May. Now July, no one has been back out... I noticed a charge on my credit card for the July monthly service. I checked my ring camera, no one was there to service our property. I called Viking; they couldn't get this July's service scheduled till 7/23... Yet charged me for it. I asked the agent if I had been charged for June's service. She said "yes, but it doesn't appear we came out." Checked the Ring and sure enough no one was there to service our property. Make sure if you are a customer, you are actually getting the services you are paying for monthly or quarterly now. I didn't have to worry about this when it was just Dirks... I have canceled my services with this company now. UPDATE: 7/14/2021- Viking Contacted Me to right their wrong for the above issues I experienced. Once I am satisfied completely I will update with a good review.

      Dirks merged with Viking and communication between tech, call center (new) and customer service went down hill. Unfortunately for Viking, Dirks set a high bar and the tech from Viking who did the first service post merge tripped over that bar and fell flat. I signed up in 2019 w/ Dirks because I want a local businesses, they were knowledgeable and cared about their work quality. Viking gives you someone who is paid to do a job; big difference. If you want a change in service from the routine exterior spray spraying, good luck between requesting it and it getting done. And don't ask the tech, they'll insist they're only scheduled to spray the exterior. Also, when you do have a problem and call, anticipate the message about high call volume, please use self service menu.
