Super easy return for an online purchase that came damaged. The service rep was polite and efficient. They had dividers up at the registers. I felt perfectly safe. This was a complete 180 compared to the Plymouth Home Depot, who had some of worst customer service that I have ever received. Most horrible was the Manager at the Plymouth Home Depot. Way to go St. Louis Perk Home Depot. People, this is definitely worth the drive. Avoid Plymouth Home Depot.

We ordered a microwave for our office and had it shipped to the store. It arrived with a corner crushed in. From the outside the box did not appear like it would have inflicted any damage to the unit itself.

Our in store representative Beth had me take a closer look and open the box. I am grateful she did, the crushed corner did damage the unit from shipping. She was fast and courteous to take care of us. I was not upset in the slightest, she made sure she was proactive in her duties.

Beth, I hope you see this review and I thank you kindly for your above and beyond customer service today! It is people like you who are a great asset to the company in making sure every customer is well taken care of like family!

Very poor service at this location not even busy and I asked for help at key station waiting now over 15 mins guy called no response I called store lady tried no response (update) guy showed up 25 mins later while my rating still stands he was cool funny and made my kids laugh as they  was starting to get antsy so I give the guy 5/5 but store still needs to do better  Especially When not busy

I ordered a 60v Toro battery for my snowblower from Home Depot online on 27 December 2021. I picked the fastest delivery option.  It was to be sent to the St. Louis Park, MN Home Depot store for pickup. The order was supposed to be ready for pickup by 4 January 2022.

When we failed to get notified that the order was ready for pickup, I called the store for an update. Because I called, I learned (and apparently Home Depot did too) that the battery was not in progress of delivery because it had gotten mislabeled and FedEx refused to transport it (Li batteries apparently need special labeling). So the guy at the St. Louis Park Home Depot managed to identify the issue and told me the battery would be ready for pickup by January 6. My Home Depot account still says that’s when it will be available (today is January 12).

So I looked at the account and found FedEx apparently delivered the battery to a Home Depot store in Plymouth, WI on January 10!

So I called the St. Louis Park Home Depot again and asked him if they had the battery. It turns out they did NOT and that it was actually delivered to the shop in WI. Again, Home Depot was apparently as unaware of this failure as I was - until I told them what happened.

The response from the Home Depot store in St. Louis Park was that I needed to call the Home Depot in WI to find out if they really had the battery and then to work out getting it sent to the right Home Depot. I asked him why Home Depot can’t do that - I’m just the customer. The guy told me repeatedly that they can’t make the call - I had to do it. What terrible service! Tell the customer to solve their problem???

So I called the store in WI. We went over the story again. But the person there said that they did not receive the order. I pointed out that my Home Depot account product tracking says they did (at leaset according to FedEx). She was nice, but told me I needed to talk with someone from Home Depot online. She gave me their number.

So I called them. I had to tell the story again. The rep was nice and apologized. She called the shop in WI and confirmed my story - and the fact that that store never received the product.

I asked if they couldn’t just send me another one. She offered to cancel the old order and make a new one. But then discovered they are unable to order any batteries as they were no longer in stock!

By now I just asked if I could cancel the order (my order info on my Home Depot account said that it is not possible to cancel the order). Thankfully, it was possible. The order is cancelled.

They said they will refund us the $376 we were charged. “You should receive it in the next 3-4 days.” I couldn’t help but say, “I’ve heard that before.” I just hope they manage to reimburse the money to the right bank account.

Home Depot proved utterly incompetent in processing this online order. They didn’t even know things were so far off track. I spent several evening hours calling and then trying to get past the bot who makes it a challenge to talk with a human who can actually help. The whole experience was awful. Buyer beware.

They said they will give me 10% off if I choose to try and order the product later.

I think I’ll look for it in another shop instead.

A pleasure to shop!  This Home Depot is the reason the stock is soaring up and up!  The store is clean, aisles are uncluttered, the associates actually care that you are there and the store manager is on top of her business. The times I have shopped here, the associates have treated me with respect, created an environment of customer service and shareholder value.

Their online curbside pickup service is horrible. Placed an order using this service today and went to the store and waited 10 min after checking in through their app. No one came out. Tried calling and it just rang, no one would pick up the phone. I cancelled the order and left. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I had this experience at Home Depot but it will be my last. I’ll take my business to a place that cares about the customer experience.

Avoid the store! Go to Menards or Lowe’s instead. It’s difficult to get to add nobody there seems to know what’s going on. They refused to take my return even though I had a receipt and the item was in stock in the store. Home Depot stores in general have gone downhill lately.

Everything you need besides food is there. Friendly people. That are up to date on the items in the store work there. Well some more then others but friendly none the less. Go if you need lumber or screws or a new tool. Lots of milwaukee tools there. There more expensive but will last a lot longer then the others.

Nice store and they usually have everything I need. Staff is always helpful and friendly but feel the paint department could use more training. Only real problem and why I often avoid stopping here is, the lumber area is often jam packed with special order carts. Especially during busy seasons. Making grabbing stacks of long heavy lumber even more painful.

I do not recommend using Home Depot for anything that you can't just walk in and purchase. My sister ordered carpet from this store in April and was told it would be installed within a couple weeks. The installers forgot to schedule her and had no remorse over the fact that it was the end of June when she finally got the carpet. The store managers did nothing to help.

I ordered a left hand tub to be delivered to my home. Paid $80 for next day delivery. They delivered a right hand tub. Delayed my entire bathroom remodel by several days. They simply don't care when you call them to get it corrected.
