  I have had nothing but positive experiences from The Home Depot in Dothan. In the paint department, the ladies there are knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They take time to offer suggestions. When I needed to go back to have a color remixed because the sample didn't match the gallon, they took their time to figure it out and do some color matching and compensated me for the gallons that did not come out correctly. In the flooring/kitchen department, Dennis and Melissa were simply amazing. I was trying to order flooring for an install that was not showing up in the system, even though it shows up when I do a search. They made calls, did some investigations, and were able to figure out how to get the exact product I wanted and save me money while doing it. Melissa was especially incredible with her expertise in trying to figure all of this out as well as her friendly and personable nature. I will definitely use her again when I am needing to order countertops. Wes, who came out and measured, took his time measuring every little detail of my home so that the numbers would be accurate. Additionally, he is the ONLY person who I contacted for measurements out of 3 companies that took a moisture reading of my concrete in my home. Considering my house was flooded 6 months ago, and still showing 100% humidity, this was an important factor to consider before installing flooring. I did not know that as no other company took the time to check that and explain that to me. Because he gave me this information, I was able to use dehumidifiers myself and do my own moisture readings and brought my humidity down significantly. I am looking forward to my flooring installation and will post updates when the remodel is complete. Everyone complains about "big box stores", but I will tell you, I have had the most knowledgeable, positive, courteous, compassionate experiences, in addition to a more cost friendly approach than I have using local businesses and "general contractors". I am very impressed.

  Fantastic customer service. Went on a busy Saturday. I was able to instantly find an associate to assist me. I needed help locating some lumber and getting it cut. The associate was friendly and professional.

  We live 1 hour from the store. I went in to order while we were in town and to receive the military discount that isn’t offered online. I had ordered another item and was picking that up, so I inquired about the status of this box. I was told it arrived on the truck the night prior. After walking around the store for 45 minutes, they were unable to locate it and said they would call when they did. I never received the text/email saying it was ready for pick-up. Three days later, I called to see if they had found it and was told that it had been shipped to the wrong store. I had to drive a hour each way to get my card refunded and the box reordered. So the second the box arrived at the store, but I received an email saying that there was a problem with the order. So I called the store and the girl I spoke with was very rude. She cut me off almost instantly and transferred me to the receiving department. The guy in receiving explained the damage and said he would contact me after he figured out the reorder status. Again, three days later I drove a hour each way and immediately asked to speak to a manager. When the Assistant Manager came to the front, she told another girl at the service desk to give me a discount and order it via the .com store. So my card was again, refunded and recharged for the same item a third time. The third time, I called and the automated system told me it had arrived and I’d receive a text/email when it was ready. Well, five days passed and no communication. So I again called and was told it was ready to pick-up. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had ordering anything from any retailer.
