Went to buy paint for my daughter's dresser, vanity, and headboard/footboard. The girl working was very helpful in choosing a good paint base. We bought Behr ultra defense in black. It went on very well, and my daughter is thrilled with the final results. (Included before and after pics).
I just left the store. 2/17/2022 9AM. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Ashley, she was super friendly, I asked her if they had anybody that on staff that was proficient in the area I was shopping for, pretty specific stuff, she called an employee to help me. Ashley was super helpful and accommodating, this doing trip was already off to a great start. The team member she called, Ariel, was super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm more of a computer geek, so not as good with tools and machines, but being an older man, this young lady did not make me feel like an idiot. She helped me brainstorm my odd situation and recommended some great ideas. Very pleasant interaction. I thanked her and went about my shopping for bolts. Evidently the bolts I needed are not all that common, I looked at over for about 10 minutes. Ariel happened to start stocking in that area so I asked her for her assistance with this as well. She found what I was looking for in the Metric (section?) I would not have found it without her. Props to Home Depot for managing to have such a friendly and knowledgeable staff during this labor shortage. I stopped by and asked Ashley for both their names. I hope they are well-compensated and treated well because if that's how they treat all of your customers, they certainly deserve a decent wage. I hope they see this, sorry if I didn't spell their names right, but I know In customer service, there are a ton of Karens out there just waiting to make somebody's day miserable. If that ever happens, just remember that you are very much appreciated and don't let those people change your wonderful attitudes. You have me a great start to my morning. I am never to leave a bad review, but this experience has been horrible. I ordered a washer and dryer online on a Thursday. They said it would be there on Monday from 10am-2pm. I was unable to choose my delivery date so I had to miss work. I waited all day Monday. No one called or showed up. Although, online it still said it was going to be delivered. After spending an hour on the phone just to talk to someone, they said the delivery service tried to call me and couldn’t reach me and they couldn’t find my address. Which was a lie. I never received a call and my house has been there since 1947. I told them I was upset and it needed to be delivered ASAP. They said they didn’t have anything for 2 weeks! I refused to accept that date and told them I needed it within the week. They said they were going to contact the higher up and they would call me. Which they never did. After spending countless hours trying to get in contact with someone and fighting to get my washer and dryer they finally got me in on that Friday. But wait… it doesn’t stop there! My delivery time was supposed to be from 12pm-4pm. They called me at 7:45am and said they would be there at 9:20am. So instead of working a half a day, I had to miss work again. Then the delivery guys didn’t show up until 9:45am. When they left they never put the legs on my dryer in which my dryer was wobbling. They also left the styrofoam in it. I paid $60 for them to set it up and they did not even do it correctly. This is a major inconvenience. They have been horrible to get in contact with and have been horrible to work with. I will stick with Lowes from now on!
