  This isn't the largest Home Depot in the Waco area but it has almost everything we need. We are building a house on land we purchased and are in here almost every day. Most of the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable and when we buy something that isn't right the return process is easy. Great place to shop!

  I had a good experience in the paint department. Alexa was very meticulous in getting the purchased paint to match an existing paint chip from many years back. I was very pleased to get an exact match. Thank you, Alexa!

  February 7, 2022 (10:25 AM) at 1803 NIH 35, cashier #00019, employee #08151: This employee (Jinx) apparently did not want to check my purchase because she was on an actual (Pro Account). Visibly frustrated and angrily said; “alright what do you have.” She did so much as say the customary “hello”. My cart was about 4 feet away from the counter. She grabbed her barcode reader but as she grabbed it, it fell out of her hand and at my feet. I handed it to her and she didn’t say thank you, she took it and said “now it probably won’t work!” Well, it did work and she said “lucky you, these are expensive.” That sounded like I would have to pay for it. She rang up my only item (#132991110915 ) Glacier Bay toilet tank. When I asked for a military discount by showing my ID, she said “we don’t honor those unless it’s through the App. I asked why she couldn’t honor the discount and she said “I knew you were trouble”. I don’t often let anyone speak to me in that manner but I was quite upset so I paid (the full price - no discount). This employee said that should’ve read the posted sign that said military discounts were only allowed through the App, which the sign only indicated which types of military ID’s were allowed. Im sorry this happened since this store is only approximately 2 miles from my home. So much for customer service by this employee.
