Wish we lived closer, or had one near us.  We come up once a month or so because the all flock feed is cheaper, and tax free (thank you New Hampshire).  We stock up on some other non essentials as well.  Really just a great all around store for hunting, fishing, clothing, animal feed, etc.  The store is clean, parking lot spacious, staff are friendly.  Can't complain about it.  Usually fairly well stocked too.

Good store they have a bit of everything like clothing, food, toys, horse supply's, bee keeping, hunting and fishing gear along with automotive, electrical, plumbing tractor accessories and parts, RV odds and ends and many other things. The staff is polite and helpful

Great store, but not the place to go if you are looking for a variety of firearms and are out of state. Certain firearms that are perfectly legal to purchase in my home state, I couldn't purchase there. Some really odd store rules that are tighter than what the state mandate is.  The woman who worked in the hunting/firearms department was knowledgeable and has really outgoing, fun personality.

Hi Todd- I'm sorry you weren't able to purchase the gun you wanted in our Hinsdale location. We have stores in 8 states, which means 8 different state gun laws to follow & we have to be very stringent in our stores to obey those laws. Thanks for understanding. Have a good day:)

My elderly parents visited your store yesterday to purchase outdoor clothing. Because the inventory is spread out, my mom walked from one display to the next with a coat on (still had the tags on it) while she tried to find bibs to match. She was approached and then harassed by a store employee (AMY), who insisted she was walking through the store with "their" merchandise. Amy continued to berate my poor mother to the point that she was ill. My parents would never steal a thing, and if the clothing had been grouped together, she would not have had to walk. I am absolutely furious that an hourly retail treated my elderly mother this way. When Amy was approached by my Dad, he told her of the incident and she insisted that my mom was walking through the store with "their" coat on. When he expressed that they would never be back, she said "I don't care." They drove almost two hours to shop here. The store and corporate have received emails about the experience. I expect them to review their security footage, follow up, and make this right. Be aware that you may experience the same thing at Runnings. Runnings, is this the reputation you want?

Went to Runnings yesterday (Sunday) to get out if the house and get  jacket and bibs as it has been so cold and we have animals that need to be fed. I went to the Carhart section and found a knock off for less money. I tried it on and liked it so I put in my carriage. Then I went to the dog isle. My husband brought me a Berne coat that I like even better. I went to the Berne isle to pick up bibs where a nasty employee named Aimee told me to take the coat off. She had been watching me cross the store with it on which was untrue.  We had words. She was hostile and unprofessional.  We will never go back!

Seemed like a nice store tons of products, the only thing is what I needed last time they were out of. So my guess is on the norm this store is well worth hitting..
