I am not a fan of Orkin Pest Controls customer service. The person who comes to the house is great, but their business department is very unkind and unprofessional. I had a billing issue and realized I owed a balance and after calling them to clarify, I received 2 bills in the mail letting me know if the account wasn’t paid immediately, I’d be turned over to collections & my service canceled. I subsequently was called several times with the same message, all within a 2 week period. The last person I spoke to, I asked not to call again as I would pay the balance in full & wanted the account closed. I was told they would note it in the account and I paid the balance. Without asking or scheduling with me, someone came out and sprayed today, so now I’ll be expected to pay for services I didn’t authorize or want. No thanks

Called and scheduled a Termite Inspection, was told since I was a good customer, there was no charge, inspection for was scheduled and completed. Over a month and no report, I went to office twice before I got any help. I was told that the inspection was not free and I needed $125.00 and they would send me the report. Payed the money, got the report. Since I needed the report for a ReFi on a VA Home Loan, the delay cost me $750.00. every since they changed to Orkin,, customer service has went down. I will not use or recommend Orkin of Bakersfield.

After many years of service with Orkin and Bank’s pest control before Orkin bought them out, I am canceling my service. My home was sprayed today for the routine bi-monthly service and instead of billing me like they have for the last ten years they took it upon themselves to immediately charge my debit card. I have never signed up for or agreed to any ACH payments. Not even a call to ask if it’s okay to charge my account. When I called them after noticing the debit from my checking account , they acknowledged there was no ACH agreement and blamed the tech for making the charge. How is it possible that the tech has my account number and routing number to do that?? He stated there was a card number on file from previous payments. That does NOT give anyone authorization to take money from my account just because I’ve paid with that card in the past. VERY shady business practices and I will no longer to business with this company.
