Chris in the gardening section was so friendly and nice when I visited the store today, readily offering her assistance if I needed it. I ended up needing her help to get an item on a higher shelf. She was more than happy to assist me. She was so nice to talk with while she used the ladder to get it for me. She even emptied out a shopping cart full of merchandise so I wouldn't have to struggle carrying the box myself. Such a kind and thoughtful person! In a time in which fewer and fewer people care to do their best and be good to others, it is uplifting that a there are still people like Chris. Lowe's is lucky to have her.
Not a single person in this store wants to work they feel like if they show up they deserve to be paid and can just tell you I don't know come back later. Had a lady at self checkout the one day that had to call lowes to verify my purchase was legit she didn't want to sent me to customer service which told me it's not their job to do other people's jobs. Took 45 minutes to checkout that day. Saturday night lady couldn't run the register properly it froze and she stood there staring at it which didn't work surprise! Switched to another register came up with a totally different total my wife counted the items and said check if there's 16 items or not she then tells me where's it say that. Told her it doesn't we just know we have 16 items so you should of rang up 16 she thought that was a brilliant idea. Again a handful of items took over 20 minutes to checkout. Went today only thing open was self checkout the lady was helping someone else but lawn and garden wouldn't answer her intercom page so she refused to help any other customer until lawn and garden answered. They came over and surprisingly said they don't know come back later which seems to be the magic phrase at this store. The management should be appalled by the work ethic of the employees especially customer service it's your job to provide service to the customer don't tell me it's not your job cause you'd rather stand around looking at your phone and I disturbed your shopping/browsing spree.
Customer Service is absolutely non existent. Terrible experience, after 4 different attempts cannot even get a person to answer a telephone. Management should be reviewed and replaced with those who realize the business they are in, which is a customer service business...which obviously they have none at this time. Apparently departments are left unstaffed for periods in excess of an hour or more as stated to me by current employees when you can find one. Really got to get your act together or watch your sales go south .
