Visited H‑E‑B on Welborn Road in College Station this morning and the produce was a work of ART! And this was after the weekend rush of Aggies returning to College Station for the Spring semester. Orlando shared that he had been working with produce for 39 years and would soon retire. He said he was trying to pass on his experience by training new employees. H‑E‑B needs to hire him to travel to other stores and pass on his knowledge! He would make a great produce department consultant after his retirement!!!!

We love HEB our favorite in Texas! Fresh produce and I love the prime ribeye steaks! I usually ask for a thicker cut and Always satisfied. I also love the variety of high quality cheese! I used to enjoy their grass-fed lamb rib chops as well but unfortunately they don’t have them anymore :( I go to Whole Foods in the Woodlands to buy those

We go to HEB, one time per week, the have organic vegetables and fruits. The meat department has great quality meats and several chpices. My husband loves to buy his seafood there too Huge stores to walk.
