Great local ACE hardware and lumber yard. The people that work here are really great and always very helpful. Not a lot of places to go in this area to shop. They carry a lot of useful items for the DIYer

I’ve been to this Ace Hardware store many times now. I’ve bought a 20 foot chain, shovels, bolt cutters, hitch, and other assortment of tools and products. All have been great quality at a great price. The employees are very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable asking for assistance and had a great and enjoyable time.

My family has been building a house up near Montpelier and this store has been the savior of our project many times. They have an amazing selection of tools as well as other necessities.

They have many needed items, but a bit pricey.  Actually, I think the prices are low compared to what the only hardware store within 40 miles could charge if they wanted to.

It's a hardware store, the process reflect the remote nature of Montpelier.  They have a great selection, decent lumber yard and the people seem pretty friendly.  Prices are a little high, but not as bad as garden city.  All in all, decent hardware store

Great place for a little bit of everything

While the people here are super friendly and great at their job,  they have popcorn in the store once a week. Great if you like popcorn, but when you are allergic and it is right next to the front door and the register, there is no way to avoid it. So they rate highly for their job, their skills, and customer service, but I can't give them the desired stars because I can't get through the front door without having an allergic reaction to the popcorn at least on Fridays.

This is my go to place for hardware and building material.  Prices are good enough to keep me shopping local instead of big box stores out of town. Can usually find what I need for about any project.  Helpful and friendly folks.

The store was clean and organized!  They had about anything you could need!  They also had a big ordering section for roofing and siding. No one said hello, but that is because they were all busy helping people!

Very poor service. Have spent 20 minutes in the store looking at chainsaws or other merchandise without being helped. I was within 10 ft. of the cashier. I finally had to ask to be helped. I have spent over $1,000 in the last couple of months and have rarely felt like they wanted me in their store.

I've dealt with this place for a long time and they've been good to me.took me a few to get used to the true value to ace switch but I'm liking it better.

The staff is friendly and well informed but in general due to its location of in the middle of nowhere it is Over priced. I don't know if is because everything is trucked in or just over priced.

Very good place the way they have it setup is really good. The staff is very kind and always willing to help.

Had the food processor I needed. The associate was very knowledgable about the store.

If you need paint this is a great place, the lady in that area is amazing and extremely helpful (plus patient)
