  I went there on a Saturday evening. The self check out line was down the street. The cashier line for actual cashiers was even farther. A few blocks away. A few blocks away at a very busy time for the store. It's really sad that we have these retail stores making money hand and foot everyday, and they can only afford to pay 2 people at the check out lines as cashiers? We then wonder why companies are having trouble hiring employees and keeping them? With large crowds and knowing when to hire more staff you'd think they'd care about their store but they don't and it shows. I used to go to Giant. I have however gone to alternatives. Like Lidle, and Aldi. Lastly. My favorite brand of burritos was normally around $3 for 8 burritos, small and nice for a meal to make quickly. They are now $10 at Giant. The price increases at Giant were noticeable and some price increases were almost double or triple the actual prices. If I knew those price increases were going to hire wages, and friendlier staff and more employees I'd continue shopping there. However, every time I go to Giant they more and more lose me as a continuing customer.

  Just your average grocery store. Not the most organized. No baskets and not the cleanest store. The selection of items is specific in certain areas for health foods but regular meat and produce selection is very limited. Decent bakery and decent sea food section. 3 stars is about a C+ in my book.

  I can’t believe I forgot to give a huge shout out the best pharmacist in Edmondson Village! He is Ghanian! I will get his name the next time. He is caring, provides clarity about Rx, patient, and considerate. I have never experienced this kind of service before. Thank you so much. We need more people like you in the world.
