  We called DPS Wildlife Animal Rescue because there were 2 large black racers making a home on our front porch. These snakes layed there together for hours and would not leave. They were boyfriend and girlfriend! We were not able to make these snakes leave so we called DPS Wildlife Animal Rescue and on Easter Sunday they came out and "battled" and I mean battled in capturing these black racers. The larger of the two was the male and was protective of the female and he was n a s t y... The snake bit the handler at least 4 times and wound around his arm several times. It was scary to watch and I had no idea how viscous black racers were. It took some time to capture these snakes and I must compliment DPS and the snake handler on doing a job well done and making us feel safe again. They came back today and set some traps to capture more snakes. If you have a snake problem...these are the folks to call. They are very reasonably priced and extremely professional and proficient in capturing Wildlife. What's great is that they don't kill, they release in a safe and distant environment. Great job DPS and thank you so much. We recommend you highly.
