We are very happy with the work Advantage Animal Control did for us in our house. Dan was great to work with and the price was very competitive. In fact, most companies wanted me to pay for an inspection before committing to any work. Dan pricing was very simple and straight forward. I first thought I had a raccoon in my attic because of past experiences but he right away told me my issue was squirrels. They were getting access to my roof/attic using a couple of trees in my yard and chewing out the wood to get inside the house. This was all happening during Thanksgiving week but Dan committed to the work and came a total of 5 or 6 times to check on the work. We ended up catching 3 squirrels!

Was pleased at first with the prompt response to set a trap for a groundhog who decided to build a home under our shed at the end of March. After a few days the groundhog just dug a new exit hole on the other side of the trap. I called the owner Dan after not having any success, and was told they would be back out to my home to re-bait and set the trap again the second week of April. No one showed up and I just ended up filling in my groundhog holes and used rocks and mesh to keep them out. I thought I would just wait and see if they ever would contact me again and it wasn’t until the end of July when someone just stopped by our house on a Saturday afternoon wanting to pick up the trap which was now inside my shed. I decided to call the owner to let him know someone was at our house picking up the trap and I let him know that I was not pleased with the follow through or service. Unfortunately he said it was not his fault, and blamed it on some bad (now fired) employees lack of follow through. I never take time to write a review but in my business experience as an owner I would definitely have a consistent follow up system with all of my customers to make sure a minimum service level was being met and if not take steps to resolve the issue. Blaming it on employees may be the reason but it is not a good answer. I would have said this is not the way we like to treat our customers and what can I do to earn your future business or make this situation better? Maybe offer a partial refund? Provide a discount coupon for future service? Any one of those options would have been the better response.

Dan came out this morning to take care of our mice problem. Real nice guy and good prices for service. Very informative and told us how to fix the entrance. I'll be passing his info on to other family/ friends.
