  I had a great experience with Rick and Jonathon today for my critter issues. I had this company come out to give me a second diagnosis and bid on critter noises I was hearing in the fireplace. Rick accurately diagnosed the issue (a squirrel trapped in the flu) and called in his partner, Jonathon Kesey, a rodent specialist, to remove the animal. I think Jonathon may be a squirrel whisperer! He is definitely professional, brave and kind to the critters (it was released from the chimney, caught, and freed elsewhere to make a new home!). My chimney screen was promptly fixed as well to avoid any future issues. I would highly recommend Jonathon and the team.

  David was a very good communicator with what he was seeing as well as how he would treat our ant issue. Even had the office call to set a follow up appointment. I feel like Absolute cares about their customers, and that is one of the reasons we have been with them for years.

  Didn't show up for the last treatment. My building manager hired them; they confirmed all treatment dates with her and said that I had to do a full prep (nothing in kitchen or bathroom cabinets) for each date because my unit was bad enough to warrant that many full cleanouts. All treatments went smoothly until the last one, when they never showed. This is AFTER I spent hours taking things out of my cabinets on Friday night, and then most of Saturday waiting around in my apartment for them to come. They did not communicate to either me or my building manager that they wouldn't be there. Then when my manager called them after the weekend to ask why they hadn't been there, instead of apologizing for not showing and for the lack of communication, they said that they wouldn't be treating any of our units for weeks because they heard that someone set off a roach bomb in one of them! This is an apartment complex with hundreds of units; I could understand them not treating that unit, or even the adjacent units, but my unit is nowhere near that one, and even if they were going to not treat any of the units, THEY STILL SHOULD HAVE GIVEN NOTICE RATHER THAN PULLING THEIR SERVICES WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION. That's half a weekend I can't get back and my apartment still has roaches (and apparently will continue to have them until Absolute deigns to come back). The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because there has been somewhat of a drop in the number of roaches, plus most of the techs that do the actual pest control are really nice. Overall, I'm not impressed.

  Good Afternoon Erika, My name is David I am the VP for Absolute Pest Management . I apologize for your inconveniences; however I do believe you are missing quite a bit of information. We actually gave notice to the Property Manager a week before your appointment, and informed her that the Building manager was in fact illegally giving out foggers to tenants during our treatments. We sent pictures of various units not just one individual unit. It is in fact the responsibility of the property manager to properly Notify, and communicate with all tenants. Clearly she never did to anyone. I am in the process of actually terminating our agreement with this location due to this reason. I would be more than happy to get your unit taken care of free of charge to show we do care and that we actually were not at fault for this issue.
